FPSC (the Federal Public Service Commission) fills federal government posts, from teachers and nurses to police inspectors and FIA staff. Every few months it publishes a big advertisement, and thousands of people apply in the same week.
When the ad comes, you will not have time to learn the process. This guide shows you the steps before it arrives, so you can apply calmly and early.
Where things stand today: FPSC’s latest large advertisement (Consolidated Advertisement Phase-3/2026) was published on 15 August 2026 with 524 vacancies, and its last date was 31 August 2026. When we checked the FPSC website, we did not see a new open advertisement. We will post when the next one comes. We are not FPSC. Always follow the official advertisement and apply only on the official FPSC website, fpsc.gov.pk.

How to Apply, Step by Step

- Read the advertisement. For every post, FPSC states the qualification, age, domicile and quota. Read your post twice.
- Apply online. The August advertisement said applications are accepted online only through the FPSC website. Manual applications and hard copies were not accepted.
- Select your post and fill in the online form. Give a valid mobile number and email address, because FPSC uses them to contact you.
- Pay the fee online using the PSID that the FPSC portal generates for you.
- Save your confirmation. Keep a PDF or screenshot of the form, the PSID and the payment receipt.
- Watch for your test or interview call. Check the FPSC website and your email and phone regularly.
