How Age Is Counted for Government Jobs
In most Pakistani job advertisements, the department counts your age on the last date to apply, not on the day you apply and not on the exam day. A few departments use a different date, so read the advertisement. This calculator treats “maximum age 30 years” as: your age on the last date must not be more than 30 years. If the advertisement says “up to 30 years” and allows the whole 30th year, the department may accept a little more, so check its wording.
Age relaxation depends on the department, the post and your category. It is written in the advertisement or in the department’s rules. Type only the years that the advertisement gives you.
