Punjab’s student e-bike scheme has a date. According to a ProPakistani report of 16 October 2026, distribution will start on 5 November, and the government plans to give 100,000 electric bikes to students. The Chief Minister announced the plan at the University of Sahiwal.
The question most students ask now is simple: my application is submitted, what happens next? This article lists what is confirmed, what the earlier Phase 2 rules said, and what is still unclear.
Please note: We are not the Punjab government. This article summarises news reports (ProPakistani and Minute Mirror, 16 October 2026) and a PakWheels guide (7 September 2026). The Phase 2 application window in that guide closed on 4 October 2026. The reports do not explain how bikes will be allotted, so wait for the official notice and never pay an “agent.”

- Keep your CNIC, the guarantor’s CNIC, licence or permit and income proof ready for verification.

- Follow only official Punjab government pages for the distribution schedule.
Avoid Scams
- No official scheme asks for money to “confirm” a bike or move you up the list.
